Position Location: Warner Center (Woodland Hills, California)

Job Purpose:

Peak Financial Partners, Inc. is a principal investment fund focused on distressed real estate investments, both commercial and residential, throughout the Western United States. The group is partnered with a $12 billion private equity firm as well as other partners throughout the U.S.  Peak Financial Partners, Inc. is affiliated with the Peak Corporate Network, a one-stop resource for everything real estate.

We are looking for a Vice President to assist in acquisitions of equity and debt real estate investments.

Duties:

  • Originate and review real estate investment opportunities with potential lenders, financial institutions, real estate companies, attorneys and investment banks nationwide.
  • Build relationships with real estate professionals for the purpose of generating deal flow.
  • Manage the execution of deals including research, gathering data, financial modeling, comps analysis, reviewing confidentiality agreements, reviewing due diligence documents and assisting in closing.
  • Work with Managing Partners on various ad-hoc assignments as needed.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in real estate finance or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in the industry.
  • Very good phone personality talking to real estate corporate finance professionals.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage database of contacts.
  • Proficient in excel and word.
  • Compensation is comprised of base salary and commission.


     
  • EVP of Sales and Business Development

Position Location: Warner Center (Woodland Hills, California )


Job Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Principal and is a member of the company’s executive team.  The Executive Vice President, Sales & Business Development will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution and channel strategy of a real estate services network.


Duties:

  • Serves as a key member of the executive team that sets the company’s strategic direction.
  • Spearheads business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Oversees the hiring and development of a (national) sales organization, appropriate for the company’s maturity/size.
  • Revenue generation and strategic partnerships development and management.
  • Build and manage a sales and business development team.
  • Oversees transactions from start to finish and tailors each to fit client’s individual needs.
  • Manages complex contract negotiation and works with legal counsel, as required.
  • Manages the overall sales process; sets appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.
  • Is the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the sales and business development group. Through personal example, establishes the style and approach which will characterize the company’s dealings with the marketplace.
  • Leads and participates in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.
  • Initiates business development processes, including participation in conferences, client meetings, and more.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • At least 10  years of experience, with a minimum of  3 years in an executive level position in a company with $50 million in sales or more and 100+ employees.
  • 7 years of sales experience, in real estate-related services (lending, default services, escrow, real estate)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, MBA is highly desirable
  • A solid understanding of company’s market: services, players, technologies, and a rolodex of contacts in related markets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task.
  • Superior communication skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior knowledge of technology and systems.
  • Ability to get along with all levels within the organization.
  • Proven ability to generate new business including national level accounts. 
  • Must be willing to travel.
